Alexandra Canal is an editorial, architecture, interior design, journalism, sports and documentary photographer who focuses on capturing the personality of people and places, highlighting the mood and essence of the characters that she photographs.
Some of her recent projects include shooting skateboarders and their double life, artists in their environment, extracting subjects from their environment, modern interior design, architectural exterior dusk shots, and capturing lifestyle moments.
She also likes to experiment with different formats beyond digital, such as 35mm, lomography and polaroids which can drastically change the feel of the photo.
